Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent is required. State of Alaska Insurance Producer License is preferred.

Position Details:

Duties and Responsibilities

o   Become aware of and understand company culture so goals and objectives can be reached in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and strategic plan.

o   Regular sessions to learn and develop position and responsibilities.

o   Work on becoming proficient in multiple agency systems and other areas of office duties.

o   Provide a high level of customer support to clients and colleagues.

o   Manage phone system and incoming calls for multiple departments.

o   Serve as the first point of contact for greeting and seeing to the needs of clients, visitors, and people going in and out of the office on a daily basis.

o   Provide general administrative duties: mailing, faxing, scanning, printing, etc.

o   Process incoming and outgoing mail.

o   General office areas to be kept safe, organized, and clean: client areas, conference rooms, and break room.

o   Assist teams with setting up policy binders and materials for client meetings.

o   Manage company general email inbox.

o   Perform miscellaneous job-related duties and special projects as assignede

o   Adhere to agency policies and procedures.

o   Develop professional relationships to enhance the day-to-day work experience

o   Maintain a high level of communication with the team

o   Monitor, order, and organize office supplies

Evaluate and develop internal processes using communication tools to enhance workflows for the purposes of increasing efficienciess.

Employee Benefits Account Specialist

Position Details:

Duties and Responsibilities

o   Become aware of and understand company culture so goals and objectives can be reached in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and strategic plan.

o   Regular sessions to learn and develop position and responsibilities.

o  Work on becoming proficient in multiple agency systems and other areas of office duties.

o  Managing, responding, and organizing 40+ calls and or emails per day.

o   Accurately creating illustrations, formulas, and formatting in MS-Excel.

o   Providing a high level customer service that involves but is not limited problem solving, critical & analytical thinking, emotional intelligence and a strong sense of self awareness.

o   Thorough analytical understanding for various components of employee benefit packages e.g. ERISA compliance, insurance product offerings, and all types of funding mechanisms.

o   Proficient in entering data and updating account information in our client management system.

o   Continual growth and learning mindset in an ever changing industry and business environment.

o   Obtaining Life and Health Insurance License within 90-days of being hired.

o   Working closely with consultants to organize and prepare for client meetings.

o   Receiving training on various insurance products.

o   Becoming an expert in using our client management system.

o   Building relationships with existing clients and staff.

o   Complete regular trainings for HIPAA.

Employer Services Account Specialist

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent is required. Two to three years working and training in the field of payroll, accounting, human resource, benefit, or office management is greatly valued. At least one year in payroll or accounting experience is required. State of Alaska Insurance Producer License is preferred.

Position Details:

Duties and Responsibilities

o   Become aware of and understand company culture so goals and objectives can be reached in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and strategic plan.

o   Regular sessions to learn and develop position and responsibilities.

o   Provide customer service support to internal and external customers.

o   Process and facilitate new employee onboarding, including I9, W4, and direct deposit verification.

o   Coordinate and administer employee benefit programs.

o   Work on becoming proficient in multiple workforce technology areas such as benefits, onboarding, compliance, human resources, reporting, and more.

o   Troubleshoot workforce technology questions and issues with clients and employees.

o    Assist in internal Accounts Payables and Receivables for client services.

o    Assist in tracking of internal shared revenue.

o   Develop client relationships to progress the client experience for our services.

o    Ability to organize and coordinate work schedule for a multitude of tasks, such as customer service requests, processing day-to-day tasks, scheduling, and conducting one-on-one onboarding and offboarding calls, and compliance reviews.

o    Learn about Benefit Compliance to assist clients in meeting compliance requirements.

o   Collaborate with team when implementing new client services.

o   Accurately gather, organize, and reconcile benefit data for multiple purposes.

o   Develop communication tools to enhance understanding for clients.

o   Monitor and verify processes and tasks are being completed within regulations and policies.

o   Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

o   Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned processes.

o   Provide training and support to clients and employees.

 

o   Learn to process payroll across multiple clients and varying pay frequencies.

Sales Associate Internship
